Our client is a medium sized business based in the beautiful city of Oxford. They are looking for an experience Finance Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. They have parking on site and offer hybrid working.
Description
Finance Analyst responsibilities:
- Analysing financial data and producing financial reports for decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance department to monitor company expenditure.
- Assist in the production of key management information.
- Conducting cost-benefit analysis related to financial projects and initiatives.
- Assisting in budget preparation and budget control.
- Consolidation and reporting of quarterly forecasts.
- Assist in the production of the Group Statutory Report & Accounts.
- Working closely with other departments to improve financial performance.
- Participating in financial auditing processes.
Profile
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
- Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent finance experience.
- Proficiency in financial software applications.
- Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments.
