The Financial Analyst role is key to our client's Accounting & Finance department, based in Kidlington, requiring a results-driven individual with a knack for financial data analysis and strategic planning.

Description

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimisation.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.

Profile

A successful Financial Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
  • Proven working experience as a Financial Analyst in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
  • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis software packages.
  • Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
