Senior Financial Analyst, Real Estate
Location: Oxford, UK
A global leader in the life sciences sector, renowned for investing in pioneering research and technology, is seeking a Finance Analyst with experience of Real Estate or Construction to join their head office team in Oxford.
This is a unique opportunity to create value and drive returns across a portfolio of large-scale real estate development projects. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial oversight for all projects, with a focus on budgeting, cost analysis, cash flow forecasting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes in line with project timelines
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Partner with project managers to provide financial insights and support performance tracking
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and cost analysis with commentary
- Monitor and control project costs, highlighting variances and recommending cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external financial regulations
- Support audit preparation and manage interactions with auditors
- Drive continuous improvements in systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
Skills
- 3-5 years’ experience within the real estate or construction industry (essential)
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially astute
- Excellent communication skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders
