Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will have a key role within the organisation with duties including:
- Providing finance guidance, reporting and analytical support.
- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting of gross margin (revenue and cost of sales).
- Providing insights and analytics to influence revenue and margin performance.
- Assisting in executing pricing loads in SAP, consolidating and reporting on pricing and supporting ad-hoc analytical requests.
- Month-end requirements: accruals, intercompany and ad-hoc provisions as required, reporting, providing commentary on key revenue lines
- Cultivates finance/business relationships, which includes learning the business, responding to evolving priorities and understanding the impacts of decisions on key stakeholders
- Assisting with interim and year end audit work as required
- Continuous improvement of existing processes and key role in development of short term forecasting on a rolling basis, tracking sales expectations and assumptions.
Profile
A successful Senior Financial Analyst should have:
- Be looking to qualify in CIMA/ACCA in the near future or newly qualified
- Proven experience in a similar analytical role within a large complex organisation
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
