Job Purpose
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with a range of clients
  • Work on complex accounting assignments, collaborating with seniors, managers, and partners as needed
  • Use a variety of accounting software, including CCH, Silverfin, Caseware, Alpha Tax, Sage, and Xero
  • Review working papers, statutory accounts, and management accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships
  • Prepare and review corporation tax computations
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members, with some line management responsibilities
  • Manage your own client portfolio, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget
  • Collaborate closely with team members, promoting a collaborative and client-focused approach

Candidate Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or finalist with at least 3 years of UK practice experience
  • Knowledge of FRS102 1A is essential; experience with SRAs, international, consolidated, or charity accounts is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills, with a focus on building relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail and IT proficiency, especially in Excel
  • A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • A team player who enjoys mentoring and developing junior staff
