Butler Rose is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated professional who is interested in joining a multi-business organisation within the first stages of scale up. This growing operation based in the heart of Oxford, would see you reporting directly to the Group FC and you will support a variety of businesses within the Group. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment where change and growth are the only constants.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in management reporting, to include variance analysis and commentary, for use in management meetings, and Board packs KPI &/or Project tracking and reporting.Excellent opportunities to develop multiple career pathways as the company expands. Key Responsibilities:* Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis and commentary, for management meetings and Board packs * Track and report on KPIs and projects as needed * Budgeting: Prepare forecasts, budgets, 5-year plans, and short-term cash forecasts * Projects: Generate ad-hoc reports to support business projects and initiatives * Collaboration: Attend regular meetings with key stakeholders to present and review business performance * Financial Accounting Support: Assist the Financial Accounting team with year-end reporting, audit liaison, tax compliance, transfer pricing/intercompany policies, and VAT recovery (day-to-day responsibility lies with the Financial Accounting team) Skills & Qualifications:* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or QBE equivalent)* Strong planning and organisational skills, plus excellent attention to detail * Strong collaboration and communication skills * Self-starter, able to work independently as well as part of a team * Proficiency with spreadsheets * Commutable distance to the office location in Oxford * Advanced analytical skills with the capability to delve into details while understanding the big picture. * Ability to meet tight business deadlines independently. * Confident and articulate, comfortable dealing with financial and non-financial stakeholders at various company levels. * Experience of developing dashboards will be an advantage This position comes with an excellent benefits package - please apply to Sam Powell for further information.
