As we expand our footprint, we are looking for a talented and qualified Finance Business Partner to support our growing operations across multiple entities.The RoleAs a Finance Business Partner, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and decision-making across the organisation. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple business entities to provide insightful analysis, support strategic initiatives, and ensure robust financial management. This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Provide actionable insights to business leaders to drive performance and profitability.
    • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Act as a trusted advisor to department heads, ensuring alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
    • Partner with operational teams across multiple entities to support decision-making and improve financial outcomes.
  • Strategic Initiatives
    • Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and financial modelling.
    • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s strategic growth plans.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Essential:
    • A recognized finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
    • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar role within a software, technology or engineering environment.
    • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience working in a multi-entity, international environment.
    • Familiarity with software/technology business models, including SaaS metrics.
    • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
