- Build relationships with Finance colleagues, directors, and senior management.
- Understand business models and their financial impact.
- Promote Finance Business Partnering and ensure compliance.
- Provide financial advice for proposals and tenders.
- Support budget holders and deliver financial insights.
- Develop financial plans and indicative budgets.
- Guide to Project Managers on budget management
- Manage project finances and reporting.
- Produce financial forecasts and assist with audits.
- Maximise stakeholder relationships and communication.
- Support Finance team objectives.
- Collaborate on financial reports.
What you'll need to succeed
- Part qualified or QBE
- Experience of financial reporting
- You will be able to support with financial management.
- Confident communicator, written and verbal
- Ability to take complex problems and provide simple solutions
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- IT: EXCEL (essential)
What you'll get in return
- £34,000 - £43,000 annual salary
- Temp contract until June 2025
- Hybrid working
- 37.5 hours per week
- Ability to gain experience of working within a public sector finance team
