The Finance Manager will play an integral role in financial decision-making and operations within a small organisation, providing financial leadership to the Accounting & Finance team based in Oxford. The successful candidate will work on management accounts, budget management, financial analysis and reporting, and facilities.

Description
Finance Manager responsibilities:
- Draft the annual budgets and produce quarterly management accounts for the CEO.
- Oversee the monthly financial ledger, including profit and loss and bank reconciliations.
- Manage the preparation of the organisation's budget, financial forecasts and report variances.
- Conduct cash flow analysis monthly and forecasting as needed.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Manage finance officer and 2 administrators.
- Oversee all facilities contracts, such as IT services, telecommunication providers, office supplies, cleaning contracts and other essential services.
- Negotiate terms with service providers to optimise value for money.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Line management experience (preferential)
- Experience in a similar Finance Manager role
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions
- Excellent accounting software user administration skills
Job Offer
