Reed Finance are supporting a well established and highly regarded employer in the centre of Oxford to recruit a temporary Finance Manager - International, for at least a 3 month period.
Working within a large and well established finance team this role reports directly to the Group FC and has 2 direct reports. Hybrid working is available with a minimum 2 days per week in the office - easily commutable from train station or on park & rides.
This position oversees our clients international offices, so good all round accounting and controls experience is required, ideally with some international exposure.These International Offices can be promotional offices (no sales activities) or branches (carry out sales activities) or subsidiaries/legal entities. They are usually supported locally by a service provider for accounting and statutory filings. Expense reports are submitted to the UK, where JV’s are posted in SAP; and are reimbursed for expenditure monthly.In this role you will be,· Responsible for the first line of defence control environment for international offices, by ensuring effective central oversight is provided, through defining and implementing robust controls and monitoring processes.· Responsible for ensuring that offices comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and Group Accounting Policies within the processes in the UK and overseas territories. · Responsible for the integrity of the IO financial accounts, ensuring that reconciliations have been performed between local statutory accounts and management accounts. Ensure that systems and processes are adapted to accommodate business needs and Group reporting requirements.This role requires someone who is excellent at building and developing internal stakeholder relationships, often outside of finance. Alongside this you will have great broad financial accounting experience.
The umbrella pay rate is between £280 to £315 per day depending on qualification and experience.
A qualified accountant is preferred but all applicants with relevant experience will be considered.
