Description
- Leading the finance team in a manner that empowers them to deliver excellent customer service and high standards of financial management.
- Contributing to the development of the institution's financial strategy.
- Managing the preparation of the institution's budgeting, forecasting and reporting,.
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations.
- Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
- Staying updated on changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Expertise in financial management and accounting.
- A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Live local/ can commute 3 days per week to central Oxford.
- Proficiency in use of finance software.
