Our client is a small company, located in the beautifully historic city of Oxford. They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent, part time basis working 20-25 hours a week.
Description
Part Time Finance Manager responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance department.
- Contribute to financial strategy and decision making.
- Produce timely management accounts
- Cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage VAT including preparation of VAT returns for each business entity and submission of group VAT returns'.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Monitor and manage cash flow.
- Prepare financial reports for stakeholders.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Provide financial insight and advice to the board.
Profile
A successful Part Time Finance Manager should have:
- An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience of organisations with multiple income streams
- Experience in supervising
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards
- Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in using finance software
Job Offer
