The Burford Recruitment Company is pleased to be working with a respected Chartered Financial Adviser firm to find an experienced Paraplanner to join their Oxford-based team.

Our client is a family-oriented, Chartered Financial Planner firm dedicated to providing top-tier financial planning services to around 200 client families. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a highly qualified Paraplanner to support financial advisers, assist with investment strategies, and contribute to the firm’s commitment to outstanding client service. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of financial products, analytical abilities, and the drive to deliver an impeccable client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Adviser Support & Financial Analysis:

  • Collaborate with Advisers to create suitability reports and analyse client financial circumstances.
  • Utilise Timeline Tech for cash flow modelling, ensuring accurate and complete client data.
  • Participate in the Investment Committee and assist with third-party investment strategy processes.

Research & Compliance:

  • Conduct research, compile documentation, and ensure compliance across all support functions.
  • Develop and manage workflows within our back-office systems, including Intelligent Office.

Client Relations & Administration:

  • Serve as a professional, friendly contact for clients and inquiries by phone, email, and in-person.
  • Provide timely, accurate service to clients and advisers, maintaining high service standards.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Qualifications: Diploma Level in Financial Planning (Advanced Diploma preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Paraplanning.
  • Skills: Proficient knowledge of investment, life, and pension products; strong analytical, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Additional: Applications from candidates currently training or newly qualified are welcomed.
