Our client is a renowned food manufacturer committed to delivering high-quality and safe products. They are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Technical Manager to oversee all technical aspects of food safety, quality, and compliance across their production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the technical team to ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP, BRC, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems.
  • Ensuring that all products meet customer specifications and regulatory guidelines.
  • Managing internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and followed through.
  • Collaborating with production and R&D teams to optimize processes, improve product quality, and ensure new products meet technical standards.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies and customers on technical issues and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Training and developing the technical team to uphold high standards of food safety and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a technical or quality assurance role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, BRC, GMP, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage audits and maintain high levels of compliance.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and Microsoft Office.
