You’ll work with a diverse team of professionals, ensuring that proposals align with client specifications and company goals. You will manage every aspect of the bid process, ensuring timely, high-quality, customer-centric submissions that meet public and private sector requirements.Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the response to both public and private sector tenders, coordinating a virtual team that includes Operations, Project Management, Finance, and Commercial.
  • Producing concise, persuasive, and customer-focused proposal documents, presentations, and other submission materials.
  • Overseeing bid production, ensuring all proposals meet client requirements and deadlines.
  • Facilitating Value Proposition sessions to craft winning strategies and integrate them into submission documents.
  • Managing key actions, outputs, and clarifications throughout the bid process, ensuring compliance and quality control.
  • Leading tender review meetings, facilitating collaboration among team members to fine-tune proposals.
  • Continually enhancing bid processes and contributing to bid management initiatives across the organisation.
About You:
  • Solid experience managing bids, particularly within the public and private sectors.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, high-level proposals.
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills to engage and persuade stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, working with cross-functional teams to deliver successful bids.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • A passion for supply chain logistics, with experience or training (such as Shipley or APMP) in bid management being advantageous.
