- Service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers across various sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (BS 5306, etc.).
- Conduct thorough inspections of fire extinguishers, identifying any faults or issues and carrying out necessary repairs or replacements.
- Provide expert advice to clients on the correct use, maintenance, and placement of fire extinguishers.
- Complete all relevant documentation, including service reports, certifications, and compliance checks.
- Assist with the installation of new fire extinguisher systems, including selecting appropriate extinguishers for different environments.
- Keep up-to-date with fire safety regulations, industry trends, and new products.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent service and ensuring their fire safety needs are met.
- Manage your work schedule to ensure timely completion of appointments and services.
- Experience in the fire extinguisher servicing industry or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of relevant fire safety standards and regulations (BS 5306, etc.).
- A strong understanding of fire extinguisher types, uses, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time.
- Relevant fire safety qualifications (such as BAFE or equivalent) would be advantageous but are not essential.
