KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Assessor/Trainer for a home/field-based position covering Oxford and surrounding areas.
The salary ranges from £28,000 to £32,000, depending on qualifications and experience, with an excellent bonus scheme offering up to an additional £10,000 OTE.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a Residential Childcare setting at Team Leader level or above and must hold a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare.
The role involves assessing and supporting learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5 and providing assistance with Functional Skills in Maths and English.
Full training will be provided for non-qualified assessors, and candidates must have a clean UK driving license and be flexible with travel.

Hold strong, occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
