A Sales Engineer, who can demonstrate experience of selling technical services into Motorsport Teams, is urgently required.
The successful person would be working for a SME company based in Oxfordshire that process and apply performance enhancing ( Patented) coatings & heat shielding technology to a range of components.
Their clients include a range of motorsport teams; vehicle component manufacturers; aviation component manufacturers, engine & machinery manufacturers, & aftermarket customers world-wide.
The organisations bespoke solutions are sold via R&D, Engineering & Commercial departments within their target clients, requiring their engineering sales professionals to gain an understanding of the client’s needs before offering an appropriate engineering solution.
Working out of an office near Oxford and in the field, as a Sales Engineer you will be targeting UK and European based Motorsport companies.
The role will be a 50% -50% split between growing sales within existing accounts whilst winning new clients and re-establishing business within dormant accounts .
Provided with some leads which are generated by an external Marketing Agency & Internal Sales Team, you will also be expected to generate your own sales opportunities and follow them through to their successful conclusion.
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Technical Qualification ( Although Not Essential)
- Track record of selling technical solutions into the Motorsport sector
- A passion for Motorsport
- Track record of selling into Engineering and Technically minded staff
- Able to demonstrate success in winning new clients and growing established accounts
- Track record of presenting at board level
- Track record of achieving sales targets
- A team player
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a base salary of between £50000-£60000 ( Negotiable) plus car allowance, annual bonus + benefits combined with real long term career progression opportunities .
