Next Step Education Worker
Location: OxfordshireHours: 37 hours per week, Monday to FridaySalary: £28,029 - £30,439.56 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated Next Step Education Worker to join our Alternative Provision in Oxfordshire. This unique role allows you to contribute significantly to the education and well-being of vulnerable learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Education Support: Provide tailored educational support and deliver a diverse curriculum across multiple sites in Oxfordshire, ensuring the individual needs of young people are understood and addressed.
- Key Working and Transition Support: Serve as the primary connection for a student, coordinating their educational timetable and liaising with families and agencies. Assist students in transitioning to further education or other provisions.
- Mentorship: Engage and mentor young people who are socially and academically at risk.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Proven background in youth work or educational settings, particularly with disaffected, challenging, and vulnerable youth.
- Skills: Strong relationship-building abilities, problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to work.
- Qualifications: Maths and English GCSE or equivalent. A teaching, youth work, or coaching qualification is desirable.
