Health & Safety Advisor - Major Infrastructure Project - OxfordRandstad are recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a major infrastructure project in Oxford. This is a long-term, inside IR35 contract role offering a competitive rate and the opportunity to work on a critical project within a leading construction company.Responsibilities:* Provide expert health and safety advice and guidance to the project team.
- Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans, risk assessments, and procedures.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and recommending preventative measures.
* Provide training and education to site staff on health and safety procedures.* Promote a positive health and safety culture on site.* Work closely with the project manager and site management team to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.Essential Qualifications:* NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent qualification in health and safety.* Experience working as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction industry, ideally on infrastructure projects. * Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.* Ability to identify and manage potential risks and hazards.* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Desirable Qualifications:* Experience working on major infrastructure projects.* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.* Experience with construction software and systems.
