Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Early Years (Marston, Oxford)

Position Details:
- Role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Early Years Focus)
- Location: Marston, Oxford
- Pay: 83.50 - 90 per day
- Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday, term-time only
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Requirements: Must hold a Level 3 Early Years or Childcare equivalent qualification and an Enhanced DBS (mandatory).
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the early years' class teacher and creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for children. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to promote learning and development.
- Encouraging social interaction and helping children build confidence and independence.
- Supporting children with additional needs, ensuring inclusivity within the classroom.
- Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment that meets the needs of all children.
About You:
We're looking for a dedicated and proactive Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for Early Years education. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience working with young children in a school or nursery setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a nurturing approach.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (Enhanced DBS is a must).
