Reed HR are pleased to partner with a highly interesting department of an Oxford based educational establishment, as they seek their next talented HR Officer. Based in Headington, you will be a vital member of a large and diverse HR Operation, who provide a highly efficient HR service to the organisation's, c,1,500 staff across various units. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an up and coming or experienced HR Advisor or HR Officer to join a newly formed centralised HR team, working with some of the brightest minds on the planet.

Working within a vibrant culture, you will be responsible for the following: 

- Supporting employees and managers through the employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor, ensuring all advice and support is delivered to a high standard and follows the agreed strategy of the organisation, within policy- Ensuring your client group is appropriately serviced, working on all employee lifecycle events whether that be a permanent, temporary or contract member of staff- Supporting and educating managers on best practice.- Having a good up to date knowledge of immigration policies, employment law and recruitment/HR best practice- Supporting the HR Operations Partner in improving processes where necessary, 

To be considered for this opportunity, is it essential that you have worked previously within a HR capacity, whether that be as a HR Administrator, Assistant, Coordinator or Officer, and that you have an understanding of the employee lifecycle and the elements which are included. 

CIPD Level 3 or 5 would be an extremely nice to have, however it is not essential. Experience will be equally as valued.

You will be a highly approachable individual, who is versatile in being able to liaise with a range of stakeholders, you will be process orientated, and will be happy to suggest improvements where necessary. 

Working within this collaborative and friendly team, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills in a busy and varied organisation, with opportunities for development, including study support towards CIPD Qualifications if so desired. 

This organisation are working the majority of the time in their Headington based office, with one day per week worked from home, so please ensure before applying, that Headington is a location you are able to travel to. There is parking available, at an extra cost which can be deducted from annual salary.
