Senior HR Specialist
  • Location: Oxford, Hybrid (2 days working from home)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our fast-paced Oxford based client. You will be delivering proactive HR services, driving best practice, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and employment legislation. This role is ideal for someone with an international mindset and experience in a generalist HR function within the UK/EMEA region.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Lead strategic HR projects to enhance organisational effectiveness.
  • Provide first-line generalist HR advisory services, offering guidance on HR policies, processes, and systems.
  • Advise on employee relations issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of local HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify patterns or issues for action or escalation.
  • Oversee the company’s Performance & Development Review cycles, including planning and delivering training.
  • Collaborate on internal mobility transfers and relocations.
  • Utilise data analytics to assess HR metrics, provide insights, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience within a generalist HR function in the UK/EMEA.
  • Demonstrable experience from the Professional Services, Fintech, Tech and Pharmaceutical industries
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and worker-related regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Self-starter, team player, and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and conflicting priorities with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
