The Role

As a 3rd Line Support Engineer, you'll play a critical role in supporting and maintaining a robust infrastructure environment, focusing on Microsoft technologies and high-traffic systems. Working in a 24/7/365 operation, you'll also participate in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately 25% of the time) to handle production emergencies as the primary contact. Responsibilities include:

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee and optimise Windows Server environments, manage IIS and NLB configurations, and support Active Directory and DNS services.
  • E-commerce Platform Support: Support high-traffic systems, ensuring consistent performance and reliability for thousands of daily users.
  • Incident Management: Respond to on-call production issues, resolve complex infrastructure challenges, and maintain detailed records for continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

The ideal 3rd Line Support Engineer will have:

  • Experience with Microsoft systems such as Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, and DNS.
  • Knowledge of VMware virtualisation.
