My well established, market leading Client is urgently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Manager to work at their Oxfordshire site and be responsible for overseeing the management, security, and performance of our organisation's IT systems. This role is critical in ensuring reliable and efficient IT infrastructure that supports business operations with minimal downtime and optimal performance. The IT Infrastructure Manager will lead a team of skilled professionals, drive best practices in system administration, and implement proactive measures to safeguard data and maintain infrastructure resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Reliability and Performance
    • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure consistent availability, reliability, and performance.
    • Implement monitoring tools and processes to detect and resolve issues before they impact business operations.
    • Analyse and optimise system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  2. Security and Compliance
    • Ensure security best practices are applied across all systems to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
    • Oversee the implementation of access controls, data protection, and compliance with industry regulations.
    • Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to minimise downtime.
  3. Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and mentor an IT infrastructure team, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
    • Allocate resources effectively, providing guidance on project priorities and timelines.
    • Encourage collaboration and alignment with other departments to meet organisational goals.
  4. Technology Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for IT
