We are seeking an Information Security Specialist to join a global, cutting-edge technology organisation, working on a hybrid basis! This is a fantastic opportunity for an Information Security Specialist looking for a fresh challenge or a Cybersecurity Specialist wanting to work on enterprise-level security solutions.

The Opportunity

As an Information Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in protecting and securing IT systems, monitoring cyber threats, and ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other security frameworks. You will work as part of a global IT team, collaborating with internal security experts and external security vendors to maintain strong cybersecurity defences. This is a hands-on role, where you will be involved in security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and security audits. You’ll also contribute to developing cybersecurity strategies and improving security tools to keep ahead of emerging threats.

What’s required of the Information Security Specialist?

• Experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other security standards

• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, intrusion detection, vulnerability management, and endpoint security

• Exposure to threat and vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response

• Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and business systems (SAP is a plus!)
