Role Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Production Operative to join our Battery Build department.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and preparation of cells, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, and prepare a variety of cells following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader/Lead Technician to meet production deadlines.
  • Report and log any faults or issues, and provide feedback to the quality management team.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity using computer-based systems.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations at all times.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Electrical and mechanical technical knowledge.
  • Ability to use initiative and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Flexible and adaptable working style.
  • Experience in a mechanical or electrical engineering environment is beneficial but not essential.
