3D CAD Designer

Introduction:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled 3D CAD Designer to join a leading medical technology company. The role is based four days a week in Oxford and one day from home and offers a competitive salary of £40,000 along with excellent benefits. You'll be responsible for 3D printing and ensuring the highest standards in medical device production.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • 3D printing of medical devices using FDM, SLA, and Polyjet technologies.
  • Post-processing, finishing, and inspecting 3D-printed outputs to ensure quality.
  • Managing manufacturing and quality processes, contributing to continuous improvements.
  • Performing regular maintenance and calibration of 3D printers.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering and Sales teams to deliver products to hospitals.

What Experience is Required:

  • Proven experience in 3D printing technologies, such as FDM, SLA, and Polyjet.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within a medical device or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 13485 or 9001.

Salary & Benefits:

Up to £40,000.
