This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly and finish of moulded parts as directed by the Team Leader. Adopting good workmanship standards, paying particular attention to quality.
  • Assist in the preparation of mouldings in support of the production schedule.
  • Assist in the preparation and bonding of boats.
  • Assist in the cutting, grinding and flow coating of bonded boats.
  • Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as direct by your line supervisor.
  • Assist in the production of sub-assemblies as and when required.
  • Assist in the training of other personnel including new production operatives as required.
  • Maintain workstation in a clean and tidy state.
  • Operates in accordance with the company’s Health and Safety procedure, and other related company policies.
  • To carry out such tasks and duties as may be required from time to time by senior management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A good standard of general education.
  • Either qualified by experience (2 years plus) or Engineering BTEC Level qualifications with 1-2 years plus experience of working in a similar environment.
  • Must be practically minded and able to use conventional workshop power and hand tools.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Self-motivated and be able to work on own initiative.
  • Problem solver.
  • Good communicator – be able to understand and communicate instructions clearly and effectively.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Highly organised and be able to prioritise work.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Team Player.
