You must have prior experience working with contracts in the construction industry and a full UK driving license. JCT / Joint Contracts Tribunal experience is also highly beneficial attribute.
The ideal candidate will live near Oxford (or within a 25-mile radius) as you will be expected to travel to Cornwall and East Anglia and areas including Birmingham, Bristol and Chelmsford.
There will be some overnight stays required
Hours of work: Monday to Friday (c40 hours per week)
Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus 8 bank holidays
We are looking to recruit an experienced Kitchen Fitter / Kitchen Installer who will not only fit kitchens but will also mentor kitchen fitters and subcontractors in the installation of kitchens for our client's VIP private customers
Please do not apply for the role of Lead Kitchen Fitter unless you meet the following criteria:
- Hold a full clean driving licence
- Previous experience in kitchen installations
- Have a relevant “Skilled Worker” CSCS card
- Have joinery or carpentry qualifications such as City and Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent)
- Have experience in managing and coordinating subcontract labour
The key responsibilities of the Lead Kitchen Fitter will include:
- Managing private purchase projects from the start which will include carrying out the initial check measures
- Liaising with the Business Account Managers to ensure deliveries are running on time
- Overseeing the delivery of kitchens that you are fitting
- Fitting kitchens or supervising the installation
- Carrying out inductions which includes issuing tools, PPE and uniform
- Providing training to kitchen fitters and subcontractors on company procedures
- Carrying out audits in the field including PAT and vehicle audits (you will be trained to conduct PAT)
- Carrying out new product testing and assessments
- Building exhibition displays

This role is joining the Field Operations Team covering the Southern Half of the country providing strategically important customers with an exceptional level of service.
