Our client are looking to directly employ a Senior Remedial Kitchen Fitter/Mentor to join the team and cover the workload in the southern half of the country. The ideal candidate would be located between Bristol and Milton Keynes and must have a full UK driving licence. You will join them on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary, plus bonus and company car. All tools are also provided.

The Senior Remedial Kitchen Fitter/Mentor role:

The purpose of the role is to provide strategically important customers with an exceptional level of service.

The key responsibilities of their Senior Remedial Kitchen Fitter/Mentor will include:

  • Managing private purchase projects.
  • Supervising the installation of key installations including VIP private purchases.
  • Carrying out TSS inductions including issuing of tools, PPE, uniform and training on procedures.
  • Auditing TSS in the field, including Portable Appliance Testing and vehicle audits.
  • Carrying out new product testing and assessments.
  • Building exhibition displays.

In order to succeed in this Senior Remedial Kitchen Fitter/Mentor role, you must have:

  • Experience of working within fast- track building processes and the furniture industry.
  • Knowledge of installations, including previous kitchen fitting experience.
  • A hands-on approach.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience of managing and coordinating subcontract labour.

You will be:

  • Able to communicate confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
  • Able to manage multiple projects positively.
  • Able to work under pressure to maintain deadlines.
  • Computer literate.
  • Personally presentable at all times.
