Service Care Solutions are currently working with a forward thinking local authority, based in Oxford, which is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer to join their Commercial Property and Regeneration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of commercial property and regeneration law matters.

ROLE: Commercial Property Lawyer

LOCATION: Oxford - predominantly remote with some travel to Oxford.

CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 month ongoing

RATE: £50-£55ph

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Lawyer role:

  • Handle complex commercial property and regeneration work and to give clear and credible advice to senior officers and elected members.
  • Reviewing title documents in order to provide advice on a variety of commercial and residential matters
  • Working closely with the Council's Corporate Property team, as well as the Housing Strategy and Regeneration teams

Key Requirements for the Commercial Property Lawyer role:

  • Qualified lawyer or experienced paralegal with previous experience of handling property work within a local government setting
  • Excellent knowledge of property law and related legislation
  • Ideally worked for a local authority previously
