Service Care Solutions is seeking a Construction Lawyer for a Local Authority in Oxfordshire, with a focus on Construction law.
The position offers a rate of £60-65 per hour umbrella for a contract length of 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of Construction Contracts and advising on Procurement matters, particularly non-contentious issues.

Service Care Solutions is currently working alongside a growingLocal Authority, based in theOxfordshire, which is in need of aConstruction Lawyerto join theirCommercial Contracts and Procurement team. This role will have a key focus onConstruction law.

ROLE: Construction Lawyer
RATE: 60-65ph umbrella
CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoing
LOCATION:Oxfordshire - can be done REMOTELY but ideally some office attendance

The responsibilities of the Construction Lawyer

Handle your own Construction Contracts caseload from start to completion. Also advise on Procurement matters.
The role will have a particular focus on non-contentious Construction contract matters, both JCT and NEC (drafting and negotiating NEC3, NEC4 and JCT contracts).
Oversee the collation and sealing of contracts.

The Person:

A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with 3+ years of PQE in Construction Law.
Ideally someone who has worked directly for a Local Authority previously within a Commercial Contracts team.
Someone with strong non-contentious construction contract experience.
