Service Care Solutions is currently working alongside a growingLocal Authority, based in theOxfordshire, which is in need of aConstruction Lawyerto join theirCommercial Contracts and Procurement team. This role will have a key focus onConstruction law.

ROLE: Construction Lawyer
RATE: 60-65ph umbrella
CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoing
LOCATION:Oxfordshire - can be done REMOTELY but ideally some office attendance

The responsibilities of the Construction Lawyer
  • Handle your own Construction Contracts caseload from start to completion. Also advise on Procurement matters.
  • The role will have a particular focus on non-contentious Construction contract matters, both JCT and NEC (drafting and negotiating NEC3, NEC4 and JCT contracts).
  • Oversee the collation and sealing of contracts.
The Person:
  • A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with 3+ years of PQE in Construction Law.
  • Ideally someone who has worked directly for a Local Authority previously within a Commercial Contracts team.
  • Someone with strong non-contentious construction contract experience.
