An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm with offices in and around the Oxford area. They are a full-service law firm that are seeking a Solicitor with a good understanding of the market to the ability to take on an existing varied caseload whilst also undertaking business development.

Duties will include:

  • Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and corporate governance documents.
  • Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management matters.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and prepare related documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in corporate law and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on transactions.
  • Active involvement within business development

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Corporate fee earning experience essential 1-5 years PQE.
  • Have very high level of technical competence
  • Marketing and business development skills
  • Proven track record of meeting targets
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Sound legal knowledge within the processes
