My client, a leading law firm, is looking for an ambitious Associate with 0-2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their Employment practice in Oxford.
The role involves handling a diverse range of employment law matters, including work for the education sector and both claimant and respondent cases.
Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge of employment law and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit in business development initiatives.
A salary of £50,000 is offered for this position, which also provides opportunities for career growth and professional development.
Ideal candidates should be qualified solicitors (or due to qualify by March 2025) with a commitment to quality and client-focused service.

My client is one of the most reputable law firms in the country and is seeking an ambitious and motivated Associate (NQ–2 years PQE) to join their Employment practice within their Oxford office. As part of their dynamic team, you will collaborate colleagues across the firm, handling employment-related matters. You will also have opportunities to engage in business development and grow your career in a supportive and professional environment.The Role:

Handling a full range of employment law work, including advising clients within the education sector, Police Federation work, and both claimant (senior executive) and respondent matters.
Contributing to corporate support projects and working within the Education Sector group and Business Services Division.
Participating actively in business development initiatives and representing the firm positively at all times.
Providing high-quality, commercially focused legal advice while adhering to professional standards and ethics.

The Candidate:

A qualified solicitor (or due to qualify by March 2025) or equivalent (e.g., barrister or FILEX).
Strong technical knowledge of employment law and a willingness to learn and explore innovative solutions.
Experience in the Higher Education sector (desirable).
An entrepreneurial approach to business development and client engagement, with the confidence to undertake limited advocacy and deliver training sessions.
Commitment to quality, professionalism, and a client-focused approach.
