Reed Legal are supporting a well known multi office firm with locations based across the Midlands to recruit a Family Solicitor in their Oxford office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation and Case Assessment:

    • Conduct initial consultations to evaluate client cases, providing detailed legal advice on rights, obligations, and potential outcomes.
    • Develop case strategies based on thorough analysis of legal precedents and current legislation.
  • Legal Documentation and Case Management:

    • Draft, review, and file legal documents including petitions, affidavits, consent orders, and financial statements.
    • Manage case files meticulously, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legal standards.
  • Court Representation and Advocacy:

    • Represent clients in family court proceedings, including interim hearings, final hearings, and appeals.
    • Prepare and present compelling arguments, examining and cross-examining witnesses as necessary.
  • Negotiation and Dispute Resolution:

    • Engage in negotiation and mediation to resolve disputes amicably, drafting settlement agreements and consent orders.
    • Utilize alternative dispute resolution (ADR) techniques to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

To be considered you will be a qualified solicitor/legal exec with previous experience managing your own family case load with support.
