There is currently an opportunity for a Solicitor/Associate to join a Property Disputes team in the Thames Valley.

This team specializes exclusively in real estate disputes, representing both residential and large commercial clients across the UK. They seek an individual who can consistently provide high-quality legal advice in a commercially astute manner while delivering outstanding client service at all times. Additionally, this role will involve assisting with the marketing of the department’s services and engaging in business development activities to enhance the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of residential and commercial disputes, while also supporting Partners on more complex matters as needed.
  • Build credibility with clients and develop their own client relationships by effectively managing expectations regarding options, outcomes, risks, and timelines.
  • Take responsibility for delegated aspects of projects and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members, offering technical, business, and general advice.
  • Assist with the budgetary management of client matters.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Previous experience in general property litigation is essential.
  • Interest or exposure to specialisms such as service charge disputes, TOLATA claims, or property-related professional negligence is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage own files and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Strong client management skills with a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
  • A keen interest in business development and marketing.
