SOLICITOR (PRIVATE CLIENT)

SALARY £45,000-£65,000

Elite Touch are excited to be working with their well-established client who are now seeking Private Client solicitor to join their busy friendly team, based at their Oxford office.

Job Specification

  • Manage their own case load of private client work, including wills, probate, LPA’s, Trusts
  • To uphold excellent standards of client care

Key activities and Responsibilities

  • Advise, assist and represent clients with a high level of client care at all times
  • Run an active case load effectively, and ensure you meet any deadlines set
  • Promote the department, identify any marketing and development for the department and carry out the activities for example networking, creating news for the website, blogging
  • Adhere to all case management policies and procedures
  • Adhere to office procedures
  • Record your time correctly using our case management system
  • Meet annual billing targets
  • Ensure billing is carried out correctly
  • Maintain knowledge and skill in the area of law you work in
  • Identify and take responsibility for your training needs
  • Maintain good file standard and organisation
  • Work efficiently with the team - other f/e and support staff
  • Delate tasks efficiently and as appropriate
  • Act in accordance with proper professional standard and regulations of the SRA and all other relevant bodies
  • Identify risks to the COLP COFA and Money laundering officer
