COREcruitment is working with a FMCG company based in Oxfordshire! They are recruiting for a Logistics Manager to join the team. As the Logistics Manager you will be instrumental in managing daily operations within the warehouse, facilitating growth, and supporting general operational functions. This hands-on role is key to ensuring efficiency and supporting the continued expansion of the company capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations
• Oversee Goods In and Stock Control, managing the receipt, quality checks, and organisation of raw materials, packaging, and supplies.
• Perform bulk picking and packing.
• Process ecommerce orders from preparation through completion.
• Ensure continuous stocking of the product line with all necessary materials.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts.
• Prepare Goods Out for both bulk and ecommerce dispatches.
Expansion & Optimization
• Lead projects to optimise warehouse layout and efficiency.
• Assist in launching new distribution channels.
• Support the implementation of international shipping processes.
General Operational Support
• Maintain pest control standards and enforce fire and health safety protocols.
• Assist with tasks within the company as needed.
• Support general facility maintenance.
Skills & Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to manage paperwork and inventory, optimising warehouse space.
• Proficient operation of Forklift Trucks and other warehouse equipment.
• Knowledgeable in Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, with a commitment to maintaining these practices.
• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Ability to effectively utilise warehouse space and apply efficient manufacturing methods.
• Accurate data management for stock tracking.
• Consistent upkeep of a clean, well-organised warehouse and delivery yard.
