Are you a skilled tradesperson with leadership experience? We’re looking for a Foreperson to join our team and oversee high-quality painting and refurbishment projects. If you have a background in carpentry, painting, or multi-skilled trades, this is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career.

The Role:

As a Foreperson, you’ll be at the centre of our on-site operations, leading a team of skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. From managing site safety to mentoring apprentices, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional results while maintaining efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team working on painting, plastering, and roofline projects.

  • Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

  • Collaborate with Contract Managers and Surveyors to track project progress.

  • Maintain strict health and safety standards, including delivering Toolbox Talks.

  • Manage materials, monitor waste, and keep projects running smoothly.

  • Train and mentor team members, developing future Forepersons and Apprentices.

  • Complete weekly/monthly paperwork and ensure accurate job reporting.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within painting, refurbishment, or related trades.

  • Strong technical knowledge of painting, plastering, or refurbishment work.

  • A valid CSCS card and ability to work at heights.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

  • Ability to motivate and mentor a team.

  • Reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated to safety and excellence.

Additional Skills & Requirements:
  • Experience managing projects and meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic IT skills for reporting and communication.

  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
