Description

Reporting into the Commercial & Operations Director, the Operations Manager will lead a team of c100 via Team Leaders and Supervisors. You will have full accountability for health and safety, manufacturing, quality & planning with the mandate to drive efficiencies and develop a high performance culture. Longer term, this role will be play a pivotal role in the transformation of the site challenging all existing practices in pursuit of world class manufacture.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on best in class health and safety
  • Developing agility in the production plan
  • Driving a growth orientated culture
  • Contributing to long term strategy of the site

Profile

The successful Operations Manager will possess the following:

  • A proven background in heavy engineering / large scale assembly manufacture
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficiencies through systems and cultures
  • Exposure to manufacturing transformation and CAPEX delivery
  • An analytical approach comfortable working with P&L
  • An ambitious approach with the drive to develop into a senior leadership role
