Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager with a background in Nuclear on a permanent basis, to be located in Oxfordshire.

Responsibilities

Management of works coordination and planning.
Management of small site team and subcontractors; including setting to work.
Ensure site and subcontractor compliance with Health & Safety & Radiological regulations and controls.
Issue of permits to work.
Review of work instructions (RAMS) or authoring if required.
Reporting the daily progress and planned works to Project Manager.
Client interface and stakeholder management.
Goods receipt & inspection.
Requisition requests for purchase of materials and plant hire as required.
Waste management & environmental compliance.

Personal Qualities
Experience in general radiological site management.
Good works planning skills. Weekly & daily planning meeting.
Problem solving in a radiological environment.
Excellent time management and leadership skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills; written reports required.
Good initiative and logical thinking skills
