Owen Daniels Recruitment has engaged with a key client and an established Manufacturing company providing a wide range of services to the Recycling industry, and high-profile clients. Due to team & project growth an opportunity has arisen for a Service Engineer to join on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to install, commission and repair all products within the product range, including sorting systems, baling presses, shredders and conditioners.
  • Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical work required and be able to assist with PLC support within the electrical department.
  • Manufacture of control systems at the workshop followed by installation and commissioning of these.
  • If no site work required, you will be required to work within the Workshop.
  • Overtime is expected (but is paid at a premium).

Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with Mechanical / Hydraulics.
  • Strong technical, problem solving and communications skills.
  • Knowledge of PLCs (Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Fanuc).
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
