Graduate Design Engineer - Building Services
Salary 25k-30k + Benefits + Pension
Location - Oxford
We are currently seeking a Graduate / Junior Level Design Engineer to join a leading client of ours within the Building Services and Heat Pump industry.
Based in Oxford, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business and who provide a range of renewable energy solutions such as Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Mechanical Ventilation, Underfloor Heating and Solar PV.
Job Role:
- Fully employed and PAYE position.
- Opportunity to join an expanding renewable energy specialist. Our client design, supply and install renewable solutions to high-end domestic properties, self-build properties, new build, private homeowners and commercial premises.
- As a graduate design engineer, you'll assist in the design and development of building services, mechanical ventilation and heat pump systems.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Provide heat loss calculations.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather necessary data.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop innovative and efficient design solutions.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input.
Skills Required:
- The role will ideally suit a graduate or junior level mechanical or building services design engineer.
- Ideally CAD software knowledge (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit) and other engineering tools.
- Willingness to learn and undertake the required-on site, product training.
- UK driving licence.
Salary & Package:
- 25k-30k Basic Salary
- Monday to Friday position
