Our client, a world leader in their field, are seeking an Account Executive to join their team on an initial fixed term contract of 1 year.

The AE will be supporting the Account Controller in delivering agreed business targets for a house hold name with scope to take full accountability for another large account.

Account Management:

  • Work closely with the Account Controller and Account Manager to support the development of long term growth business plans for well known companies
  • Cross functional working to deliver robust DAVP (Distribution, Availability, Visibility, Promotion) plans by customer
  • Support the ongoing planning and management of promotions throughout the trading year providing supporting analysis where required - aligning to key events and ATL (Above the Line) marketing campaigns
  • Network all personnel in key accounts to develop & identify sales opportunities
  • Prep and attend monthly account review meetings as part of the internal Business Planning Cycle providing insights on drivers of performance
  • Support with customer range review process to identify new opportunities
  • Gather key customer information and understand trading variablespreferable - WSET Level 1 & 2)
  • Fully understand broader retail environment and competitor activity through store visits and relevant trade press when required

Administrative support:

  • Maintain promotional plans on our business planning software to optimise sales forecast accuracy
  • Update relevant Retro/Sales Trackers
  • Manage & process invoices, claims and deductions to agreed levels
  • Complete new line forms and price change forms as required
  • Contact for coordinating sample requests
  • Maintain relevant stock trackers with key information on EPOS sales out vs sales in
  • Support the Acc Controller & SNAM with key customer meeting presentations

Person specification:

  • Educated to A Level equivalent standard
  • Demonstrable track record of achievement/willingness to take on additional responsibility
  • Previous experience of Junior NAE role/ BDE or other junior commercial role
  • Proficient in Power point and Excel
  • Industry experience and wine knowledge is preferable (WSET Level 1 & 2 would be advantageous)
  • Driving licence
