Senior Geophysicist

Senior Geophysicist - Full-Time | Permanent | Oxfordshire-Based (Hybrid)
We're hiring an experienced Senior Geophysicist to join a geophysical consultancy working on national and international projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with deep technical knowledge and a passion for mentoring, innovation, and project leadership.
What you'll do:

• 
  Lead complex geophysical surveys from design to delivery
• 
  Guide and support field teams, occasionally participating in site work
• 
  Oversee data analysis and reporting using advanced geophysical methods
• 
  Drive quality, innovation, and efficiency across diverse sectors
• 
  Mentor junior staff and contribute to ongoing R&D efforts

What we're looking for:

• 
  7+ years of experience in near-surface geophysics
• 
  Strong technical background in GPR, EM, seismic, resistivity, magnetometry, and more
• 
  Proficiency with tools like Oasis Montaj, Res2Dinv, SurfSeis, GIS, and Python
• 
  Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• 
  A postgraduate qualification in geophysics or related discipline

Salary & Benefits: 35,000-45,000 DOE + profit share, pension, health plan, and relocation support if needed.
