Senior Process Engineer – Staff – Oxfordshire

Location: Oxfordshire

Role & Responsibilities

  • FEED verification - overseeing and co-ordinating deliverables of FEED contractor on a challenging new clean tech project.
  • Ensuring design specifications of the main contractor and as per agreed company specifications and ensuring any amendments are incorporated in line with company / project requirements.
  • Undertake work on client site as required, providing technical advice and operational support services.
  • Support the develop the scope of work / basis of design for studies and projects.
  • Checking the quality of FEED contractor/s design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications.
  • Will be responsible for taking projects through the full project lifecycle; from conceptual, FEED and detailed design through construction, commissioning and operations.
  • Supporting the vendor management and selection process.
  • Perform safety related calculations and provide input to safety reviews – What If, Hazop SIL Assessment, etc.
  • Undertake short and long-term business travel in support of project.

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Must be Degree qualified.
  • Chartered status highly advantageous though not essential.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, EfW or similar industry projects is essential.
  • Must have experience taking projects through the full project lifecycle; including site experience during construction, commissioning and operations in addition to conceptual, FEED and detailed design.
  • Planning and organising, communication, team working and problem solving.
  • Good level of numeracy, literacy and IT knowledge.
