Health & Safety and Fire Officer

MMP Consultancy is seeking a Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a college based in Oxford. The position is permanent with a salary range of 28,759 - 33,966 per annum which will be pro-rata based on 17.5 hours (0.5 FTE).

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure effective management of Health & Safety and Fire Safety within the College
* Report to the Director of Accommodation, Catering and Conferences
* Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* Significant experience in a similar role
* Sound understanding of Health and Safety, including Fire and Risk Management
* Experience in a higher education or collegiate environment
* Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills
* High accuracy and attention to detail
* Problem-solving abilities and capability to work under pressure

Desirable Qualifications:
* NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
* Experience in delivering Health and Safety training
* NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
* Fire Manager Certificate
* Strong presentation and training skills
