IMC Locums are looking for an Community Occupational Therapist to work in a neuro rehab team in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, making a positive impact on patient recovery and well-being.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to inpatients with a range of physical, mental health, or cognitive conditions.Assess patients' functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and independence.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.Support patients in regaining essential daily living skills, such as personal care, mobility, and leisure activities.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.Participate in discharge planning and ensure safe transitions of care for patients returning home or to other care settings.Requirements:Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Previous experience working in an inpatient settingStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Car driver desirableBenefits:Competitive hourly rates.Supportive team environment.Excellent referral schemeIf you are passionate about providing patient-centered care and looking for a locum opportunity, we would love to hear from you!!!
