Rullion are looking to recuit for the following Role :

  • Test Engineer
  • Magnetic Technogologies Business Unit
  • March 2025 start
  • 6 month contract
  • Inside IR35
  • £up to £52 ph (experience dependant)
  • Location - Eyesham Oxford

Job Description



  • Work within a small, dynamic R&D team to manufacture and test of prototype components using novel materials and processes.
  • Support the development, improvement and documentation of manufacturing procedures
  • Support the commissioning and validation of new equipment
  • Use close observation skills and problem solving to identify and resolve issues
  • Connect observations made during the manufacturing process with their influence upon test outcomes

Qualities:

  • Hands-on, engaged, adaptable
  • Ability to collaborate, taking initiative in coordinating and scheduling tasks amongst and business requirements
  • Identify and communicate improvement opportunities
  • Experience of working in the following areas beneficial:
    • Electromagnetic coil manufacture and test
    • Cryogens
    • Electronics and soldering
    • Resin impregnation
    • Light manufacturing skills - modifying, rework
    • Maintenance of equipment
    • Data logging methods and recording of test data
    • Creation of Work Instructions
